Raffaele Minotto Curriculum

Raffaele Minotto was born in Padua in 1969. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts, painting course, in Venice, where he graduated in 1991.
Painting alongside the incision, dedicating itself to the technique of etching and drypoint.
In 1995 he had his first solo exhibition, at the Center for History of Costume 'Yesterday Current' of Padua, and from this moment begins to exhibit his work continuously. 'Via Euganea', exhibition held in Padua in 2003 by Giorgio Segato, documenting well the hard work done over the years.
More recently, in 2009, the painting of Minotto was selected for 'Contemplations': wider exposure by Alberto Agazzani, who proposed the Sismondo Castle in Rimini an effective perspective on Italian painting. From this collaboration comes the exhibition and the 'Reflections' catalog that includes an analysis of the works created between 2011 and 2012.
In 2011 he was invited by Vittorio Sgarbi to exhibit as part of the 54th Venice Biennale - Section Veneto Region.
The following year participated in the exhibition 'Encounters at the beginning of the world', at the Cultural Center San Gaetano di Padova.
Meanwhile continues the engraving studio: and concerning this activity, the journal 'graphic art' (# 90 / April-June 2012) comes a full presentation signed by prof. Paolo Bellini.
At the end of 2012, the exhibition 'Reflections' is also proposed in Nino Sindoni Gallery (Asiago, VI) and subsequently presented on AREAARTE magazine (14 / Summer 2013).
The pictorial research and graphic gradually joins a new project, 'mysterious Water': it is a 'back to the drawing', including large format, through the analysis of the theme of bathers, already faced for some time with other techniques. The collaboration with Stefano Annibaletto, curator of the project, will lead in 2013 to the realization of the exhibition at the Sala della Gran Guardia di Padova and a catalog that documents and analyzes the proposed theme.
Recently one of his release was nominated for a 'Premio Leonardo Sciascia 2015-16', and will then be presented in traveling exhibitions of the Prize in the city of Palermo, Florence, and Milan Fabriano.
