Filippo Tincolini

Filippo Tincolini, among the sculptors of his generation, is certainly the most visionary, and not only because of his works, some of which hint at a future in which nature and science interpenetrate in an evocative way: his Spaceman, an astronaut dressed in roses, has now become the symbol of this mixture. Tincolini, starting in 2004, founded the contemporary art workshop TorArt where robotic technology is developed to work with marble and stone, supporting the world's leading artists, with a focus on design by combining respect for traditional work (hand made) with a passion for innovation through the use of the most advanced technologies such as 3D laser scanners and anthropomorphic robots. Tincolini's marble sculptures are the best example of how art, craftsmanship and science can coexist to give a result of absolute beauty.
