Ultramarine green, Marica Fasoli creates stunning paintings that seem the result of geometric abstraction whereas they are the result of a refined hyperrealist technique: the artist starts from an origami that is later deconstructed; the sheet of paper is then smoothed and the fake creases and shadows painted in order to achieve a 3-D effect.
